Factory-made galvanized steel profiles: a lighter, more precise way to build, with less time on site.

Steel framing, or light-gauge steel construction, is a system in which the structure of walls, floors and roofs is assembled from cold-formed galvanized steel profiles. It is the building method of SOMUNDY, the group's plant.
The profiles are designed through structural engineering, made to measure in the factory and arrive on site ready to be assembled into panels. They are then closed with boards, insulation and finishes, just like any house or building.
We use G60 and G90 galvanized steel and design under Eurocode 3, AISI and ASTM. The coiled steel is imported by AMSTEEL, another company in the group, and SOMUNDY turns it into profiles and panels.
ARCO Residencial, in Jilotepec, is built with this system. We also fabricate for other builders: housing, buildings of up to six stories, industrial buildings and modules.
